How to Style a Shrug

Ok, lets get this out of the way. Yes, There was a long gap between my first post and this one, as I have been extremely busy and while it is not a valid excuse, it’s what I tell myself to feel better.

A shrug is such a versatile garment and the looks I have recreated are some I have worn often . What can I say?I’m a girl on a budget and creativity is my bank balance(As you can probably tell, I indulge in self praise among cakes, pizza and rajma chawal).

While there are many more ways to style a shrug, the one’s I have mentioned are the ones I think would suit most body types.

The shrug I am wearing has two long pieces of cloth attached around the collar which are meant to be tied around the neck like a cape, but these looks will work with a normal shrug as well.

Look 1: The Simple and Straightforward

The waist is the slimmest part of  most women’s bodies. A waist belt draws attention to it and can do wonders for you figure.

Look 2: The Fitted Long Top

Look 3: The Crop Top

Start with bunching up the crop top as shown in the weird GIF (  Also, This makes me realize I pelvic thrust like a boss.)

Look 4: The Jumpsuit

I hope you benefited from spending your five minutes  on this post, if only to watch me making a fool of myself with the pelvic thrusting and all. Till next time, which I promise will not be as delayed this post was.
